It Starts as A Simple Wish

Star light, star bright
First star I see tonight
I wish I may I wish I might
have the wish I wish tonight

It's the usual rhyme a child (or even an adult) murmurs whenever they wish for something, whenever they look at the stars at night, whenever they dream and believe in that dream.
I was just watching a video of a fireworks display and the lyrics of the background music just hit me. I remembered creating my wish list last year, a list of 100 wishes. It was suggested by our PROSEC teacher, Ms. Katz Zeta. The list contained both simple and complicated wishes, both short-term and long-term wishes, both academic and co-curricular wishes. Looking back at my dreams/wishes, I realized that I was slowly fulfilling them.

You know, any wish is possible. All it takes is a little courage, to set it free.

Deep in everyone's heart, there's a wish waiting to be set free. We all have something we want, we desire, we crave, we dream. We need to realize that dream to take our first steps in fulfilling that dream, that wish.

A wish is a powerful thing, especially when it comes from the heart.

If a person really wishes a dream from his/her heart, s/he will be more motivated to make it come true. Everything is possible for him/her.

Sometimes, wishes can be granted in the most unexpected ways.

And in the most unexpected time. Some wishes can be fulfilled only by the person himself thus knowing when the wish is fulfilled. There are times though, when God's help is needed. If certain steps are taken and the person did everything he can, all he needs is a miracle to grant his wish. This miracle is not predictable though. It just comes when it is destined to come.

Wishes can come true, if you believe in them with all your heart.
And the best part is, you'll never run out of wishes.
They're shining deep down inside of you.
'Cause that my friends is where the magic lives

So keep dreaming and believe in your dreams. ^-^

Unpredictable

"Everything changes...changes"

I heard this line from a song my sister was playing in her playlist. It kept playing over and over and over and over again that it made me realized that I changed. I changed ever since I stepped into college. Contrasting my "self" in highschool and my "self" in college, I got this list. (seen below)

When in high school:
- procrastinated a lot
- stayed with girl friends (take note... TWO WORDS!!!)
- never ever checked my appearance/looks
- didn't text a lot (because phones are a no-no during weekdays )
- never did study but got high grades
- stayed in front of the computer to play games
- never blogged

When in college:
- started doing a task once given
- stayed with both girl and guy friends
- fixed up a bit (coz there aren't any uniforms! wee! XD )
- text more~ O.O
- studies but gets average grades
- stayed in front of the computer doing auction house and shapes made from asterisks in the beloved BlueJ program
- is now blogging

That's about the list I have. >.> I know I might have changed a lot more but I still havent' realized it. XD I love change. It makes me... unpredictable.
